During The Great Depression, a local tobacco warehouse in Erlanger, Kentucky, was bustling with farmers. In 1933, resident Clara Rich saw an opportunity to fulfill her dream of starting a restaurant to feed her local community. The Colonial Cottage opened with a vision of serving up home cooking at an affordable price.
Decades later, we're still here to serve you. While plenty has changed with the passage of time, The Cottage has remained true to the original mission by offering great food at a fair price for nearly 87 years.
